Upper Room basketball team “arrested” Team Police on Sunday April 6 and “handcuffed” them with a 20 point lead margin at the close of play. Team Upper continues to show their mettle as the Team Police flexed their muscles against key players of Upper Room, especially in the first quarter. However, Team Upper never gave in to the pressure as they led the Police all the way with a half time score of 41 to 25. With a combination of free throws, two pointers and beautiful three pointers, Team Upper sealed the deal with a final score of 71 to 51.
With this fourth win (out of six matches) the team looks forward to Round Two. Kudos to the team, coaches Oneil Brown and Simon Brown and of course to the horn-blowing, screaming and ever-cheering supporters. We continue to thank God for what He is doing in this ministry.
