We wish to thank everyone who helped to make the recently held BBQ fund-raiser a great success. Everyone worked together as a team even though there were many challenges.
So, to all who helped in purchasing items, cleaning-up before and after the BBQ, prepping the fish and chicken for cooking, those who cooked, those who served, those who made deliveries all over Kingston in “month end” lunch time traffic, and of course to those who sold and bought tickets – May the Lord bless you for your labour of love! Thanks also, to those who gave donations or made other contributions in support of this BBQ.
There was a friendly competition among the various ministries in the sale of tickets. However, no ministry stood a chance against the Youth Ministry which was declared the winning ministry which sold the most tickets. Congratulations to them!
Proceeds from this fund-raising BBQ go towards our outreach programmes such as our Basketball Ministry, Summer Medical Clinic, Homework & Remedial Reading Centre, etc.
